About BYTO Home

Modern convenience,
built for smaller towns.

Doorstep delivery of everyday essentials for the rural and semi-urban communities that big-city convenience has so far skipped.

About the company

BYTO Home is a doorstep delivery service for everyday essentials. We believe modern convenience shouldn’t stop at metro boundaries.

A family in a small town should be able to order groceries and daily necessities from home just as easily as someone in Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru or Delhi — and receive them, reliably, at their door.

We’re starting in Debra, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, with a larger vision for rural and semi-urban India: a trusted local platform that saves people time and effort, creates local opportunity, and brings digital services closer to home without losing the warmth and trust of a local community.

Not every big dream begins in a big city. Sometimes it begins in an ordinary middle-class home, with limited resources and unlimited ambition.

I’m Puspendu Pramanik — also known as Aviraj — a young entrepreneur from Debra and an ADBA student. I grew up watching how people in rural and semi-urban areas live, work and shop, and how quickly digital services were transforming urban India while much of the country outside the major cities was still waiting its turn.

Why should convenience belong only to big cities? Why should someone in a village have to travel to a city to experience what a phone can already do elsewhere?

We order food, book rides, pay bills and find information in seconds. Yet everyday shopping in many rural areas still means physically going to the market. BYTO Home is my attempt to change that — to bring the convenience of digital commerce to the communities I come from, and make daily essentials accessible from the comfort of home.

For me, Debra isn’t a point on a map. It’s home. People here are capable, hardworking and comfortable with technology; what’s missing isn’t ability, it’s access to technology-driven services around them. That’s the gap I want to help close.

I’m still learning, still building, still making mistakes and improving. But I believe every great company started as an idea in someone’s mind — and that a young person from an ordinary family, in a town like Debra, can take the first step. If this journey gives one more young dreamer the courage to start theirs, that matters to me as much as the business itself.

I’m not doing this alone. My friend Anup Das joined me as co-founder, and together we’re building BYTO Home step by step — one idea, one order, one town at a time.

Our vision

To make digital convenience accessible beyond the metros and bring modern, technology-driven services to India’s rural and semi-urban communities — a trusted local platform where people can:

  • Order from the comfort of home
  • Save valuable time and effort
  • Rely on dependable doorstep delivery
  • Become part of a more digitally connected life

From a small beginning in Debra to a bigger vision for rural India.

Our promise

BYTO Home isn’t meant to be just another delivery app. We want it to be a name people trust — a company that starts local, understands local, serves local, and grows with its community.

The journey won’t always be easy. But every journey begins with a single step. This is ours.
